Merla was rendered speechless, standing frozen in place.
As we spoke, Harry walked over. “Queen Nicole, the car is almost completely wrecked, and I can cancel the engagement now if you’d like.”
Hearing this, Merla panicked, her face flushing red with anger. “Harry! How can you do this to me? Didn’t you say you loved me the most?”
I smiled, watching her as she finally started to lose control.
“No rush. Let’s call her father over first.”
The moment she heard I wanted to call her father, Merla came back to life. “Fine, fine! I’ll
call my dad right now. I want to see if you still dare act tough once he gets here.”

I could not be bothered to explain. A father who could raise a daughter like Merla would not be any better.
If she truly believed her father could cover for her, then fine. I would love to see just how he planned to teach me ‘a lesson’.
