Yoel was being serious this time. After he rested in my room for a few days, he really stayed back. The great CEO who was always pampered was cooking his own meals and had his body covered in dirt all the time.

lockets there, and it’s beautiful!”
One of the boys had a lollipop in his mouth as he dragged me out of my room. The boy’s name was Bobby Lance, and he was the
one who looked like Remy the most.
When I reached the bridge, the sun was starting to set, and I was stunned by the shiny scene in front of me.

in different sizes, and they were decorated with all kinds of jewels.
Yoel was standing at the end of the bridge, and he said, “After I lost you, I contacted all the famous designers from around the world and told them to make 999 lockets. I know our son’s death has been haunting you greatly, and I can’t undo the mistakes I’ve made in the past.
“However, I swear I’ll start loving you right from now on and love our children the same way as well.”
At that moment, my face was already covered in tears without me knowing. Yoel reached his hand toward me from afar. “Please give me one more chance, Felicity. After you’ve crossed the bridge, let bygones be bygones, alright? Let us start from scratch again.”
