“Keep an eye on Claire today. She’s been ignoring me for days because she’s angry with Sharon. I’m afraid she might try to ruin
the wedding,” Mark told his friend, asking him to guard the door.
However, his friend looked at him with a complicated expression and replied, “But Claire and Andy are getting married today,
too!”
Mark’s bright smile froze on his face. He turned pale and looked around, not seeing me.
He asked in disbelief, “Say that again. Claire is getting married today?”
Mark shouted at his friend hysterically, over and over again.
“How could this have happened? Claire loves me. Why would she marry someone else?
“I explained everything to her and even prepared another house for her. How did she end up getting married?”
Mark was consumed with thoughts of all the moments we had shared, and his heart nearly skipped a beat.

Mark ripped the flower off his chest and looked apologetically at Sharon.
