“I treated you well, didn’t I? Why did you leave me for Andy?”
Mark dragged me into the bedroom.
That was once the place where I had lived for three years, and everything looked the same as when I had left.
Even the photo of us from when we went out together was still on the table.
Mark stared at the smiling faces in the photo and said, “We had some good times, didn’t we? I also apologized to you. Why did you leave me?”
Suddenly, he grabbed my neck, forcing me to look at the photo.
I turned my head away stubbornly, not wanting to look at anything related to him.
Even the mention of his name disgusted me.
Mark’s expression grew dazed as I ignored him. He then turned violent.
I protected my stomach out of instinct.
“What are you doing?
“Are you pregnant? Is it Andy’s?”
Mark quickly noticed me covering my stomach and tried to touch it.
I bit his hand hard.
He stepped back in pain, and his expression darkened as he glared at my stomach without saying a word.
“Get rid of the baby and come with me. I don’t mind that you’ve been with Andy!
“Claire, come with me. Let’s start over, okay?”
