Mark reached out and gently tugged at my hand.
I slapped him hard across the face.
“Stop dreaming! Let me go now, or my husband will never let you get away with this!” I shouted at him repeatedly.
Mark was enraged when I addressed Andy as my husband. He grabbed my neck angrily and pushed me halfway out the window.
“I’d rather die than be with you! I want to be with Andy!”
As I counted down, I smiled when the police burst in.
Mark had escaped from the psychiatric hospital and had shown violent behavior again. The police saw him in the act and

immediately shot him.
It was obvious that he wanted to kill me by pushing me out of the window.
Mark died in front of me. I had no fear at all, only relief and joy.
Andy and I had finally succeeded in our plan!

After all, I had been thinking about how to get rid of him ever since the last time. The only way was to get the police to see him
hurt someone again, so I used myself as bait to provoke him.
I had a tracking device hidden in my earring, and I had received the signal that the police were on their way. So, I lured Mark to
the window, and I watched him die in front of me.
Back at Andy’s house, he held me tightly.
“Don’t be so reckless anymore. You scared me today!”
I touched my stomach and stood on tiptoes to kiss him.
“Alright. I won’t take any risks with you and the baby from now on.”
“I’ll stay with both of you for the rest of my life,” Andy said as he held me in his arms and looked at me with deep affection.
We watched the sunset on the second–floor balcony.
Everyone said the sunset was beautiful, but it just faded into twilight.
To me, every sunset with Andy was precious.
“I love you, Claire!” Andy whispered in my car,
“Say it again!” I shouted in his ear as I pretended I could not hear him.
“I love you, Claire!” Andy shouted.
“I love you, too!” I responded with my most sincere feelings.
When I decided to marry him, my heart had quietly belonged to him.
I loved Andy!
