said that he could take care of himself just fine.
Yohan was the only person left in the huge house after Julian left. It no longer resembled a home, as it was devoid of warmth. He
found Naomi heartless as she had left nothing of hers for him.
Yohan was rather envious of Julian, as he could still visit her weekly and give her calls. On the other hand, Yohan could only numb himself with alcohol daily.
Countless instances where Naomi had stayed by his side flashed in his mind.
Yolan felt immensely guilty and regretful, hating himself for missing out on all his chances. His heart ached whenever he thought of her every night.
He had met someone who loved him dearly early on, and he could have been happy. Yet he ruined everything with his own hands
Tears slid down Yohan’s cheeks as he looked through their only photo together taken on their wedding day.
He wished that the Yohan from the future could travel back in time to six years ago. That Yohan should have told him not to hurt and push Naomi away, never letting her leave.

Yohan thought that if he were to be given a chance to restart everything, he would hold onto her hand tight, never letting go no
matter what.
Unfortunately, there was no restarting life.
Naomi was still Yohan’s wife a few months back, but she would be getting married again soon. His mind was a mess, wondering
how everything could have happened.
Yohan informed Julian that Naomi would be getting married to Samuel. He hoped that Julian would be in anguish that she had left
them so mercilessly.
However, Julian wasn’t sad. Instead, he felt happy for her. “Mommy is happy with Uncle Sam. I wish her happiness.”
Yohan thought he had no right to blame Naomi when even a child knew she was happier being with Samuel
Yohan attended Naomi’s wedding. Samuel had given her the wedding Yohan couldn’t give to her. Julian offered to be the flower
boy.
The wedding was grand. Yohan only found out how beautiful Naomi had looked in a wedding dress.
“I wish you happiness,” he said.
“Thank you.” Naomi smiled brightly.
She had already let go, and Yohan knew he had missed a chance at happiness. The greatest punishment for him was the fact that
he would never be happy again.
