Causing trouble?
Suzanne’s heart sank to the bottom of her stomach. She never expected that simply delivering lunch would result in her being accused of causing a scene dripping her phone, she said
coldly. “Wait, I’ll make a call.”
Sonia sneered coldly as she tapped her beautifully manicured acrylic nails thythmically on the desk. With a look of disdain, she said, “What an act. Even if the call goes through, it’s nothing more than a scheme to sedoor Mr. Hall ”
The security guards moved closer to Suzanne and stared at her anguly. “Please leave now, or we’ll have to take further action”
As they spoke, a few of them reached out, ready to drag Suzanne away.
Excitement flashed in Sonia’s eyes. She believed a woman like Suzanne deserved to be thrown out without any regard for her dignity and that she should be humiliated so thoroughly that she could never show her face again.
Sonia wanted to ensure everyone kaew Suzanne was nothing more than a worthless gold–dipers.
The air around Suzanne grew cold as she tightened her grip on her phone. She struggled to contain her anger as she fixed the security guards with a stern gaze. She snapped at them, “How dare you!”
The sudden, fierce presence she exuded sent a shock through the crowd. Even the security guards besitated.
Sonia let out another mocking laugh. Did Suzanne think that her empty threats would work? Pointing at Suzanne, Sonia shouted, “Throw her out!”
The surrounding atmosphere froze, and everyone held their breaths. They were already picturing the scene of Suzanne being thrown out.
Just as the security guards reached out to grab Suzanne again, a cold, commanding male voice suddenly rang our “What’s going on here? What’s with all the commotion?”
Suzanne’s hand paused mid–dial. She looked up and saw Gabriel walking toward the reception desk
Sonia’s arrogance and disdain vanished in an instant, and she plastered a bright smile on her tare. She pointed toward Suzanne and said, “Mr. Burton, it’s this woman who has been causing Trouble. She wants to meet Mr. Hall without an appointment.”
After spealing. Sonia shot a provocative look at Suzanne, and bec eyes gleamed with smug satisfaction.
“You’re done for you bitch!” Sonia thought.

Sonia gave Suzanne a disdainful glance before she continued to complain to Gabriel, “She’s clearly here to seduce Mr. Hall. There have been many like her in the past!
Gabriel frowned deeply, impatience evident in his expression. But when the security guards slightly parted, he suddenly froze
“M–Mrs. Hall?” he thought, somewhat taken aback Suzanne actually came? If Austin knew that she was here, he would be very pleased
Gabriell quickly stepped forward and nodded his head in polite greeting. He said, “You came”
sonia stiffened, a ficly of confusion crossing her face. Why was Gabriel treating this woman so respectfully? A bad feeling crept up on her
The onlookers were just as puzzled.
Something about this didn’t seem right. Or was it that this woman was different from the others who came to pursue Austin?
Suzanne cast a cool glance at Sonia before looking at Gabriel She said firmly, “Mr. Burton, there’s something you need to take care of. No one should be allowed to tarnish Austin’s reputation.”
Areceptionist like Sonia showing such bad service was certainly damaging to the company’s image.
Sonia’s expression darkened instantly. Who did this woman think she was?
