Kenneth sped down the road and returned to the freezer.
The door was shut, with two guards standing at the entrance. The secretary led Kenneth to the door. Only then did the guards
unlock it.
Stepping into this place again, I couldn’t help but shudder in fear.
Kenneth’s gaze landed on the person tied up on the floor.
“Alpha Kenneth, it’s him! He confessed everything. Agnes paid him to turn on the power. I’ve already checked the bank transfer
records!”
Fury overtook Kenneth as he grabbed the secretary by the throat and slammed him hard against the wall.
“Do you even know what you’re saying? I warned you before, don’t you dare falsely accuse Agnes! She’s not that kind of person!”
The secretary struggled free, gasping for air before hurriedly continuing.
“I’m not accusing her! The security footage captured the whole thing. I’ve already saved the evidence! And the night Agnes was
supposedly locked in the storage unit? She did it to herself on purpose!”
Kenneth’s face turned pale. He shook his head repeatedly before stumbling backward.
His gaze landed on the scratch marks left on the wall. His voice trembled.
