Dylan eventually got wind of it and quickly stationed his bodyguards backstage, forbidding Conan from wreaking havoc.
The wedding was nice and simple, without too many complicated rituals. I then took Finley from the nanny’s arms and stood onstage with Dylan.
Everyone’s eyes were on me, making me feel slightly anxious.

Although the guests spoke in hushed tones, they could still be heard. The beautiful wedding was suddenly plunged into a terribly awkward silence.
I felt humiliated and didn’t know what to do. Dylan simply took the mic from the emcee and said sternly, “My brother, Conan, was the one who wronged Sabrina. For years, she suffered at his hands. I did everything I could to save her from herself.
“I was the one who first started pursuing Sabrina. As for my son, Finley, we only had him after much discussion because we wanted my father to meet his grandson as soon as possible. If anyone forced her into marriage, it would only be me!”
After Dylan spoke, the gossipy guests immediately zipped their mouths and hung their heads in shame.
The ceremony only continued afterward.
