Yelena finally stopped overthinking about the situation and put her head on Samuel’s shoulder.
When it was time for the wedding, Samuel stood up to leave. After exchanging some words with Yelena, he left.
He was reminded of his conversation with Joy that morning, and he contacted the butler to ask him to bring Joy
over.
While waiting for Joy, he suddenly felt lost.

He thought about many things and also thought about how he was going to speak when he saw her.
But when he saw the butler come to the church grounds with no one beside him, all the words he had in his head dissolved into panic. “Where’s Joy?”
The butler opened his mouth but did not know what to say.
When he was sent off to retrieve Joy, he had run into Martha and Francis.
When they learned why he was there, Martha and Francis exchanged glances. Judging by the time, Joy should have already boarded the plane.
The wedding was about to start. If Samuel asked to see Joy at that moment, something terrible was bound to happen, and it would delay the wedding.
That was why they asked the butler to lie to Samuel. They told him to tell Samuel that Joy’s legs were hurting, and she had to rest at home.
