I calmly answered, “Yes. I’m here to see your pitiful state. Im happy that you’re in this condition.”
As expected, she got even more agitated upon hearing this.
I asked, “Why do you hate me so much? Just because you don’t want to study and I’m hardworking? Why me?”
“Why you? Why is it always you? I can’t compare to you! Even in our studies, you have to perform better than me! Why are you so hardworking? You’re the only one who’s so hardworking, and you’re doing it to pressure me!” Jane said through gritted teeth.
I was speechless.
“Why do you think I’m competing with you when I live my life earnestly and study seriously? I’m doing it for myself. Besides, everyone is doing it too. You really think too highly of yourself.
“I’ve never paid attention to you. If you had stopped spying on me and spent that effort studying, you wouldn’t have ended up like this.”
Jane said, “Why would I want to work hard? I can just pull you down. Why do I need to study hard? You’re wrong. You’re the one who gives me anxiety. People like you should die!”
Looking at her insane antics, I finally knew.
“People like her did not have the will to work and study hard but they would be jealous of others and blame
everything on the world.
I laughed. “Whether I’m hard working or not, it has nothing to do with you. I’ll get a position in tite postgraduate program, and I’ll work even harder. You’ll never compare to me.
Knowing that she was losing her mind, I left her behind.
My nightmarish past life was finally over.
After that, Melody and I became friends, and both of us entered the postgraduate program,
