He said when he was in his coma, he dreamt that Bruce and I had gotten married and had a family together.
He lost all hope of living. He wanted to end his life, but then he heard my voice telling him not to give up. He said that I was waiting for him to come around to thank him. He did everything he could to wake up, but he could not no matter how hard he
tried.
Even after he no longer heard me, my words clung to him.
“Nancy, it was because of you that I held on for so long.”
One day, his family came to tell him that they found him a fiancee called Nancy. He thought he had misheard them at the time, and he slowly opened his eyes.
His family told him that it was me.

“Did you know, Nancy? I was so happy that I almost passed out then.”
Aaron bent down to look at the babies in his arms and said gently, “Your Mommy had saved Daddy’s life, so you two have to be good. Don’t ever make Mommy mad, or I’ll smack you on your tiny backsides.”
I hugged them and planted a loving kiss on his forehead.
At that moment, someone entered and told us that Bruce had jumped off the building at the mental asylum.
Perhaps it was the medication, but Bruce had been slamming his head against the wall every day, saying that Kerry had turned into a ghost and that she was out for his blood. He said she was the one who grabbed his head and knocked it against the wall. He even said that she was going to make him her husband in the next life.
I did visit Bruce in the asylum once, and I did notice the huge bump on his head. He did not recognize me at all. He would only smile at me and drool.
His death finally ended all his misery. Not long after he was sent to the asylum, his family’s company went bankrupt. His family had to beg on the streets to survive. They later died one after the other.
Perhaps they would see each other in hell. I wonder if they met once more, would they complain at each other or console one another?
