After half a month of effort, the wedding had concluded smoothly, and Vivienne finally felt a significant burden lifted from her 

heart

On the way home, she was resting with her eyes closed when a commotion outside disturbed her

Frowning, she glanced out the window just as the housekeeper approached and explained the situation in detail

Madam, about half an hour ago, a group of people showed up outside the estate claiming to be Mrs. Margot’s family. They’ve 

been demanding to see you ever since.”

Vivienne was immediately reminded of everything Dominic had told her about them

The cheerful expression she had worn moments ago vanished, replaced by a frosty demeanor

Gerard and Odette who were in the back seat, also wore displeased expressions as they accompanied Vivienne out of the car

From a distance, Fred and Martha spotted Vivienne. They had not seen her in years
