After half a month of effort, the wedding had concluded smoothly, and Vivienne finally felt a significant burden lifted from her
heart.
On the way home, she was resting with her eyes closed when a commotion outside disturbed her.
Frowning, she glanced out the window just as the housekeeper approached and explained the situation in detail.
“Madam, about half an hour ago, a group of people showed up outside the estate claiming to be Mrs. Margot’s family. They’ve
been demanding to see you ever since.”

Vivienne was immediately reminded of everything Dominic had told her about them.
The cheerful expression she had worn moments ago vanished, replaced by a frosty demeanor.
