But when Griffith looked at her–the very person responsible for all of this–rage flooded his senses. In an instant, he lunged, pinning her down. His sharp claws nearly grazed her throat.
“This is all your doing,” he growled. “Why did you have to seduce me that night in the greenhouse?”
His voice trembled with fury. “Now that Ellia knows everything, she’s gone. Tell me what do you expect me to do now?”
Giselle gasped for air, struggling beneath his weight. Her hands clutched at his arms, nails digging in, desperate. “Alpha–please -calm down. I… I’m carrying your child.”
For a moment, Griffith froze.
Their child.
The realization loosened his grip, and Giselle fell back, coughing, greedily sucking in air. The terror of nearly losing her life still clung to her, but beneath it, something else simmered–an uncontainable, twisted joy.
Ellia was gone.
If she had disappeared, wouldn’t that make her the rightful Luna of the Avalora Pack?
The thought barely had time to settle before Griffith snapped back to himself. He straightened, eyes burning with renewed determination. Without hesitation, he summoned his men.

“I don’t care what it takes,” his voice was sharp and commanding. “Mobilize everyone–find Luna Ellia. No matter where she’s gone, bring her back.”
I exhaled slowly, setting down the crystal sphere. The ship rocked gently beneath me, the distant shore creeping closer.
By the time Griffith realized where I was headed, it would already be too late.
Lumina Pack awaited me.
Talassa, my closest friend, was there. As the Alpha Female of her pack, she had extended her hand to me countless times, offering refuge, urging me to leave before it was too late.
She had warned me. Griffith’s fated mate was never meant to be me. That truth, she said, would one day unravel everything between us.
I hadn’t listened. I had trusted Griffith blindly. I had refused her offer.
But now… now, I had a second chance.
A new life was waiting for me.
