26 BONUS
It was empty. The whole living room was empty as if no one had ever lived there!
Anthony, who rushed over behind Gabriel, instinctively called for Andrea. “Mom? Mom!”
However, no one answered him, no matter how much he shouted. He finally panicked and grabbed Gabriel’s hand with red eyes. “Dad, where’s Mom?”
Gabriel also became flustered. He quickly took out his phone and dialed Andrea’s number. However, all he heard was a cold and robotic female voice after the call went through. “Sorry, the number you have dialed doesn’t exist.”
This time, Anthony burst into tears. “I want Mom!”
Andrea’s disappearance soon spread throughout the city, but Gabriel’s affair had a worse effect.
Intimate photos of him and Hannah looped across billboards in the city all day. Although he spent a fortune to remove them, kind members of the public still uploaded them to the trending lists online.
Fulton Group’s shares kept plummeting for a while. Shareholders doubted him and even wanted Gabriel’s father, Fred Fulton, who had already retired, to replace Gabriel with a new president.
Anthony was criticized and bullied by other kids in kindergarten. They said he was as shameless as Gabriel for abandoning his own mother and calling the mistress his mother instead.
Children would not know what these words meant. They said these things because their parents had mentioned it in front of them.
Young as he was, Anthony knew this was bad. Adding the teacher’s disgust and dislike for him to the mix, he began to dread going to kindergarten, hiding and crying in the villa all day.
Gabriel had no time to worry about him because Hannah was pregnant.
Since she was exposed as a mistress, her company not only dismissed her, but the people in her residential area also threw garbage at her and asked her to move out. Finally, she could only seek out Gabriel as she was homeless, but Gabriel had no intention of letting her in.
