Samantha was not Fred’s original wife. She only married Fred after Fred’s original wife passed away, Samantha, who was a mistress, knew what was on Hannah’s mind. She never liked Andrea, who was estranged from her, so she disliked Anthony as well.
Now that there was a woman who tried to gain her favor and was pregnant with her grandchild, she was naturally happy to let Hannah join the Fulton family as a daughter Jaw.

Anthony had never suffered such a grievance when Andrea was around. When Hannah yelled at him, he cried even louder. “You evil woman. I don’t like you. Get out. I want my Mom!”
The only reply he got was a slap from Hannah. Hannah had one hand on her waist while she pointed her other hand at him with a fierce expression. “Still looking for your mom? Your Mom has long since abandoned you. Hurry up and shut up. Massage my back, or get out of here tonight!”
