When Anthony heard that his mother abandoned him, he shoved Hannali aside. “You’re lying! How could my mom not want mel”
Hannah was standing at the top of the stairs when Anthony pushed her down the stairs. With a scream, blood began to flow from under her.
Anthony looked at his hands, and then at Hannah, who was lying in a pool of blood. Then, he fainted.
When Gabriel woke up, he learned two things. Hannah had miscarriage, and Anthony was also hospitalized because of Hannah.
Looking at the slap marks on Anthony’s face, Gabriel clenged his hands tightly as his face grew grimmer.
“Take good care of Anthony,” Gabriel ordered the nurse before turning towards Hannah’s hospital ward.
When Hannah woke up, she was told that not only had she miscarried, but that she would not be able to conceive again because of her thin uterine wall.
She was lashing out at the housekeeper beside her when Gabriel pushed the door open and entered.
When the housekeeper saw him, she let out a sigh of relief and quickly lowered her head before saying, “Sir.”
Hannah’s attitude instantly changed when she saw Gabriel. She grabbed his sleeve with her red eyes and bit her lip slightly. Her trembling voice revealed her weakness and unwillingness.
“Gabriel, our baby hasn’t seen the world yet. I know Anthony didn’t mean it, but our baby… The doctor told me I will never be able to get pregnant again.” Hannah started crying after saying that.
“It’s good that you can’t get pregnant,” Gabriel replied. It would save him his energy.
Perhaps not expecting Gabriel’s reaction, Hannah paled. “Gabriel, what did you say?”
Gabriel stared icily at her. “Hannah, I warned you from day one not to reveal our relationship to Andrea. But what did you do? And my son. No one dared to bully him since he was born. How dare you hit him!”
He could not imagine how sad Andrea would be if she found out. His eyes were no longer gentle, and he declared the end of their relationship. “Hannah, I’ll ask my assistant to give you some money. Never come back.”
Hannah, who had been crying, immediately stopped when she heard his remark. “Why? Gabriel, I’ve been with you for so many years–taking care of your son, sleeping with you so many times, and I even got pregnant. I spent the best years of my life with you, yet is it over now just because you said so? Who do you think you are?”
