Chapter 6
“That’s not true!
“Josh loves me! You’re all just hired trolls for that woman!
As Olivia stubbornly denied everything, the comments in her stream became increasingly hostile.
I decided not to engage in their online bickering anyinore. left the livestream and found the statement they had mentioned.
Joshua had not only posted their divorce certificate but also our marriage certificate online.
There was also a video attached.
Olivia’s divorce from Joshua was all part of a scheme, a tactic to manipulate him.
In the video, Olivia lounged in silk pajamas, resting on the lap of a young man.
“Are you really going to divorce Joshua?”
“If I don’t scare him, he’ll start walking all over me!” she said lazily.
“Aren’t you afraid it might backfire? What if he really agrees?”
Olivia let out a derisive laugh.
“Joshua is completely under my thumb. He loves me so much that he would pick the stars from the sky for me.
“So what if he agrees? He can’t survive without me. I’ll come back after a while, and he’ll be begging me to remarry!
“This is my secret method for taming a man. You’re so inexperienced!”
Olivia wrapped her arms around the man’s neck, grinning with satisfaction.
At the end of the video, they looked like they couldn’t wait to get into each other’s pants.
I had no idea where Joshua had obtained the footage, but I knew he must have paid a hefty price for it.
Sure enough, once the evidence surfaced, Olivia became a pariah, despised by everyone.
Many netizens dug up her previous comments and lambasted her.
Overwhelmed by the backlash, Olivia was too afraid to livestream again.
With nowhere to direct her anger, she decided to confront me at my gallery.
I was at church when my assistant called to inform me that Olivia was causing a scene in the gallery.
I didn’t want to see her again, so I asked my assistant to handle it.
However, after I hung up, I returned to the hall but couldn’t concentrate. Tears welled in my eyes as I left the church.
“My dear baby, Mummy will make that woman pay for what she did,” I silently promised my dead child.
By the time I arrived at the gallery, Olivia had already destroyed more than a dozen paintings.
