When I opened the door, I saw Quinn stepping out of the apartment across the hall, pulling her suitcase behind her. Her lips were
a little red; she looked like she had been kissed.
The doors behind us closed.
The elevator opened slowly. As Quinn and I stood side by side, I asked her, “Did Harry kiss you? Who would’ve thought? He seems
so gentle, but he’s wild behind closed doors.”
Quinn heard the comfort in my teasing words. She held my hand as we stepped out of the elevator. “He said he wants to have

actions.”
The officer looked at Quinn and shook his head. “No, we won’t let any lawbreaker go free. We called you today because, after analyzing Melinda’s possible motives, we believe she did this for Chuck and Harry.”
He then asked, “If you’re willing, would you help us with our
investigation?”
