She even had to go after my husband.
“Queenie, is this all you ever say? Aren’t you tired of repeating the same line over and over? Because I’m certainly sick of hearing it! Can’t you come up with something new, something with a little more creativity? And since you know I hate you, why do you keep showing up in front of me?”
Each word I spoke made Queenie’s expression twist.
She gritted her teeth and stared at me. Never before had she suffered such humiliation in my presence.
Hatred burned in her eyes as she ran to Henry. Pitiful tears hung at the corners of her eyes.
“Henry, look how she’s treating me!”
Before Henry could say a word, I let out a cold laugh.

Henry froze in place. His eyes revealed a trace of fear as he looked at me.

He stood by my bedside helplessly and looked at me like a lost child. He was looking at me with a desperate plea. He no longer cared about Queenie standing behind him.
I raised an eyebrow at Queenie in feigned triumph.
Realizing she was being ignored, Queenie glared at me with murderous resentment.
But she knew she couldn’t do anything to me, so she resorted to her usual tactic–bringing in our parents.
It was her go–to move for years.
I watched her every action without stopping her, letting them enter the ward.
It was time to put my plan into motion.

Sure enough, the moment our parents‘ voices reached the hallway outside the ward, Queenie rushed out. She threw herself into my mother’s arms and sobbed.
At first, my parents were stunned upon seeing me hospitalized. But soon, their gazes turned cold and sharp.
“Stephanie, all you did was donate a little blood. Why are you acting sick and staying in the hospital? Hurry up and discharge
