Chapter 7
Chapter 7
I could sense something fishy. “Why?”
That club member looked around before whispering, “Daniel has a horrible reputation in our club. I heard that he harassed some of our seniors, and they all left because of that. That’s why the club barely has members now.”
I was shocked.
She continued, “I heard that those seniors complained to the teacher a few times, but somehow, he’s still around. Maybe he has some connections…”
As expected, Jane and Daniel started to date openly.
We could hear them on video call whenever we were in the dorm.
One day, I received a notification and pulled out my phone.
It was a social media request.
[It’s me, Daniel.]
I did not approve the request and pretended not to see it.
The next day, when I headed to the library, Daniel blocked me.
He wore a smile that he felt was charming. “Hey, why didn’t you accept my request?”
“Why should I? We can talk during the meeting if it’s related to the event,” I answered indifferently.
Daniel leered at me, and I felt disgusted.
“No, I just want to get to know you. You’re Jane’s roommate, right? Let’s be friends. It’ll be easier for me to contact you and ask you for favors.”
I was expressionless. “Didn’t she tell you that we’re not on good terms?”
I did not give him another chance to speak before I left.
When I stepped out of the shower later, Jane was sitting next to the bathroom on a video call with him.
