I sneered and wanted to call the dean to report Jane for stealing.
Jane took her phone and rushed out of the dorm room.
At first, I wanted to wait until Jane returned to observe her so that I could collect some evidence. However, she did not return for a few nights.
Later, another huge incident happened.
Someone posted the entire video on the college’s website.
At that time, Daniel was playing basketball with his friends.
Jane rushed over and grabbed Daniel frantically. “Didn’t you say if I sent you photos of Melody, you wouldn’t send my videos out?!” she screamed.
Daniel was unbothered. He even smiled. “You’re the one who took the video. Didn’t you mean for someone to see it? Besides, you wanted to steal your roommate’s lingerie to show it to me. You’re the shameless one!”
Jane slapped him, but he grabbed her by the hair and slapped her back.
“Stop acting like you’re an angel! I’m only playing with you! Look at what you sent me after that. You didn’t even get me the right photos…”
Soon after, someone screamed.

Chapter 8
Jane had suddenly taken out a knife and stabbed Daniel.
In the end, he was admitted to the hospital, and Jane was detained at the police station.
The incident was extremely serious. After Melody learned about this, she immediately broke down in tears.
She was finally willing to tell the truth. That day after Penny and I discovered that Jane was secretly taking photos of me, she went to see Melody.
Melody was showering, and Jane secretly recorded her before sending the footage to Daniel. After that, she threatened Melody to not tell anyone else, and Melody started getting hounded with messages as a result.
So, I accompanied Melody to file a report. Daniel would definitely face criminal charges after he left the hospital.
I then contacted the psychology professor and got help for Melody.
Jane was expelled, and I thought that was the end of it.
However, a few days later, I saw her family members standing outside of my dorm with a banner.
It said, [Heartless Roommate Harmed My Daughter]
I was puzzled.
Her mother started crying to the crowd, “My daughter was harmed by her heartless roommate. She should pay for my daughter’s life!”
I laughed in anger. “Your daughter’s not dead. She’s waiting for her sentence. Why don’t you beg Daniel, whom she stabbed, rather than harass me? I didn’t ask her to date Daniel, and I didn’t ask her to stab him.”
Her mother stared at me viciously as if I had murdered her daughter. “My beloved daughter said you’re too hardworking. That’s why she’s been so anxious. If it weren’t for you, the leaders of the school wouldn’t have wronged her and she wouldn’t have dated Daniel! If it weren’t for you, her life wouldn’t have been ruined!”
