We cared for some special needs children, and they had unique ways of expressing their emotions.

When we started to greet the children, someone suddenly shouted, “Ah!”
Our leader immediately ran over and asked, “What’s wrong
Jane was rubbing her waist with a grimace. “This kid pushed me and pinched me!”
The young boy’s teacher also rushed over and stopped him. But she seemed to be displeased with Jane’s actions.
“I’m sorry. He just wanted to say hello to you.”
Jane pulled our leader aside and asked, “Can’t you assign me another kid?”
However, our leader looked annoyed. “You were the one who asked me to include you earlier. Now, you’re pulling out?”

Jane was speechless. Everyone was staring at her, so she had no choice but to sit next to the young boy.
The young girl beside me did not speak much.
Even so, she quietly held my hand when I walked toward her.
When we started to watch a movie, I felt Jane’s gaze on me again. But I stopped myself from turning around.
The young girl was growing restless, and she suddenly screamed, “Ah!”
Her teacher immediately ran over to comfort her and asked if something was wrong.
She buried herself in her teacher’s embrace and stuttered, “S–See… Keep… See…”
