Evelyn shook her head her eyes quietly reddening
“Grandma, when did you wake up? How come you’ve returned home by yourself? Are you okay?”

On the third floor, in Charles room, Sandy had cned herself to sleepi
Dahlia was heartbroken and wiped away her tears
A servant came knocking. “Mr Charles, Mrs. Jenkins requests your and Ms. Dahlia’s presence downstairs.”
Charles suddenly stood up “Grandma’s back?”
A spark of joy was evident in his eyes as he put Sandy down and headed downstairs.
Dahlia, however, had a completely different reaction. She felt like she had plunged into icy waters.
All she could think about was how Rosa had managed to come back!
Wasn’t she supposed to be in a coma?
With her return, would the truth about what happened five years ago become impossible to hide?!!
Dahlia was engulfed in immense panic!

His voice could barely hide his exotement. Seeing his grandmother awake after two years filled Charles with joy
Rosa was also thrilled to hear Charles‘ voice. He was her most cherished grandson. But the moment she saw Dahlia following behind him, her face darkened, displeasure written all over her face
She coldly glanced at the two, turning her gaze away disdainfully and gripping Evelyn’s hand tighter. She continually patted it, trying to offer comfon
Rosa knew how much Eve loved Charles and could imagine how hurt she must be seeing Charles and Dahlia together
Rosa’s wise eyes swept over everyone present, and then she asked Evelyn, “Eve, what happened?“2
“Grandma, Evelyn is so evil. Sandy is only five years old, and in such cold weather she pushed Sandy into the lake. That’s why mom and Charles had to punish her
Sena was not willing to let Evelyn off easily. She feared Rosa, but today, she believed Evelyn couldn’t defend herself. If they could prove Evelyn’s guilt, perhaps Rosa would also despise her

Evelyn stood up, leading Rosa’s bodyguard back to the lake. They went to the spot where Sandy had fallen into the water
From the nearby bushes, the retrieved her phone. The recording had been going on for almost an hour!!
From the moment Evelyn had intentionally left a kiss mark on Charles‘ neck, she knew Dahlia would not stand for it and would come looking for her
Evelyn had been cautious.
She knew Dahlia’s character. Once Evelyn provoked her, she wouldn’t let this go easily!
