She fell on the floor as a result. Ever since she got together with Simon, he doted on her all the time and listened to her every request. He only ever yelled at her when it came to Bertha, and he never pushed her away like this before.
She sat on the floor in stunned silence and could only watch as Simon left.
“Simon!”
Her cries made the voice–activated lights in the stairwell light up, but that did not stop him. Luna got up in a panic and chased after him, but he only said, “I’m going back to look for Bertha. Stay here, Luna. Be good.”
Simon rushed to the underground parking lot and entered his car. Meanwhile, Luna chased after him and called his name. But Simon left without sparing her a single glance.
