Chapter 7
Everyone went into an uproar right after hearing those words. I instinctively turned to look at the stage as well.
The next thing we knew, the door was flung open from the outside. A few policemen strode into the ballroom.
Adrian just said with a smile, “It seems that a certain someone hasn’t lost his conscience entirely. Here’s where the good part
starts, Ophelia.
I watched as he pressed a button. The wedding photos on the monitor were instantly replaced with surveillance footage. The first
part was the video showing my accident. The second part showed the footage of Isabelle fleeing from Sharp Manor.
I finally understood what sort of gift Adrian had meant earlier. He wanted to expose Isabelle’s true colors in front of everyone at
the wedding.
The wedding, which was initially filled with blessings given by others, was reduced to nothing but chaos. All the guests kept
speaking with each other in low tones.
Panicked and scared, Isabelle instinctively sought Dominic out for his protection.
However, Dominic just pushed her away coldly. He gazed at her as though she was a pile of trash.
“Isabelle Sharp, did you really think your misdeeds would remain hidden secrets forever? You killed both my mother and Ophelia.
Rot in hell.”
Isabelle broke down on the spot and began screaming at the top of her lungs. Meanwhile, Dominic just impassively watched her
getting dragged away by the police.
Now that Isabelle’s crimes were exposed, this wedding was reduced to nothing but a joke. Adrian behaved exactly like an audience member. Once he was done watching the ridiculous drama, he got up with the intention to leave.
Once he exited the ballroom, he heard a voice ringing from behind him.
“Adrian Prince, return Ophelia’s ashes to me.
Both Adrian and I stopped in our tracks instantly.
