she thrashed in a desperate attempt to break free.
She shouted, “Emery! Help me! They’re framing me! Please, Emery, you have to save me!”
The scene came to an abrupt halt when a loud slap echoed through the hallway. Emery had slapped Sasha hard across the face.
“Why?” he demanded. His voice was shaking with fury. “Why would you do this? They were your own children!”

His face contorted in rage as he grabbed Sasha’s shoulders. His eyes were burning with red–hot anger. Seeing that her lies had
unraveled, Sasha began to laugh hysterically.
“You idiot. You’re all idiots!” she taunted, pointing a trembling finger at Emery and then at me. “So what if they were my kids? I abandoned them once before. Why wouldn’t I do it again?”
“If I hadn’t made a mistake back then, they wouldn’t have even been born! But they still had some value–at least their lives were worth a bit of money!” she cackled.
Enraged beyond reason, Emery kicked Sasha to the ground. He grabbed a chair and raised it high above his head.
He screamed, “Why? In the past, you lied to me, and I forgave you. But now, you’ve betrayed me again. You used our children as pawns!
“Did you ever care about me? Does your heart not ache at all?” he roared as he slammed the chair down on her.
The crowd recoiled in shock, stepping back several feet. Security and more officers rushed in. They restrained Emery and pulled him away from Sasha.
Sasha, who was now injured, was taken away for medical treatment before being transferred to custody.
