In the live stream, a person wearing a duck mask ranted, accusing me of staging the entire fire out of jealousy. He claimed I had sedated the children and endangered their lives just to play the victim and gain sympathy.
The comment section was buzzing, with some viewers already swayed by his lies. One wrote, “I knew it! How could she be so calm
when running into that fire? She must’ve set it herself to control the flames!”
“Exactly! There’s a fire station three miles from her place. How did the fire escalate so fast that they couldn’t wait for help?”
Another commented, “She just wanted attention. This is what happens when people will do anything to go viral. And of course,
they aren’t her biological kids. It’s no wonder that she could use them like that!”
I sighed in exasperation, easily recognizing the voice and behavior. It was obviously Derrick trying to stir up trouble for clout.
Without wasting time, I blocked and reported the stream, then filed a formal complaint with his employer, citing negligence that endangered lives and caused property damage.
After getting my hands bandaged, I left the examination room and immediately encountered the police.
One officer greeted me politely, saying, “Ms. Sawyer, good afternoon. We need you to come with us to the station and provide a
detailed account of the incident.”
I nodded and followed them to the patrol car. Once at the station, they presented me with surveillance footage from my home and
the surrounding area.
“We noticed that shortly after your husband left around noon, a woman entered your house,” the officer explained. He turned the
screen toward me.
