“Leonardo, how can you be so cruel to me? I’m your lover!”
Leonardo shoved Dora aside with brutal force, and she crashed onto the floor.
A moment later, blood pooled beneath her,

All eyes turned toward her in shock.
“Oh my god. That’s a lot of blood. Could she have miscarried?”
Dora stared blankly at the crimson spreading beneath her before bursting into agonized sobs. She pointed at Leonardo with
trembling fingers.
“You! You just killed our child with your bare hands!”
Leonardo looked startled, but he quickly turned to me, panic appearing on his face as he rushed to explain.
“It’s not what you think, Madeline! We always used protection. There’s no way she could be pregnant with my child!
“She must have slept with another mafia boss. There’s no way that thing inside her is mine!”
“Leonardo, stop being disgusting.” My voice was ice–cold.
“In the previous lifetime, you and Dora went to great lengths to kill me. And now you’re playing the devoted lover? You never
loved me. You only cared about my family’s power and wealth.”
I turned around to leave. Leonardo tried to chase after me, but Dora clung to him desperately, refusing to let go.
Later, my father expelled Dora from our family. She continued to pester Leonardo, spreading rumors that she was carrying his
child, claiming that he loved her and was addicted to her body and that he couldn’t go a day without her.
When Vincent heard of this, he summoned Leonardo back and enforced the Vittorio family’s strictest punishment upon him. Not
even his mother’s desperate pleas could save him. Leonardo was locked in the family dungeon, subjected to relentless physical
training and brutal punishment daily.
Dora went mad searching for him, hoping he would rescue her, but she couldn’t even get close to anyone from the Vittorio family.
Both my family and the Vittorio family blacklisted her. She was banned from all banquets, galas, and private clubs. She was
completely shut out.
Those who once called her a friend, a lover, or a business partner now avoided her like the plague, afraid of being implicated.
Homeless and penniless, she had nowhere to turn.
In the end, she returned to the red–light district where she had been born, surviving by selling her body for money and dealing
with low–rung scum that included drug dealers, thugs, and petty criminals.
