I shot her a cold glare and kicked her away without waiting for Annie this time. I then smiled and asked, “Why are you getting so worked up when I only mentioned I know who it is, Karen? Are you actually the mistress?”
She glared at me begrudgingly and refused to say further, afraid of messing things up.
According to my past memories, I recalled a few locations where Karen often secretly met up with Wilbur. Among them were secluded spots like the woods beside the park and little–known alleyways at street corners.
Wilbur was extremely stingy and almost never took her anywhere where he would have to spend money.
Even the occasional gifts he gave her were random, used things he took from his home–samples of his wife’s skincare products, an old, worn scarf, a yellowed phone case, and even wildflowers he casually picked from the roadside.
However, Karen treasured all these worthless items. Not only did she lock them away in her room, she even refused to let anyone touch them.
Their usual meet–up spots were so secluded that the surveillance cameras barely caught anything, and the gifts he gave were worthless pieces of junk that couldn’t be clearly traced back to him. As such, none of these things could be used as evidence to prove that she was his mistress.
Karen was itching to cause a scene again when she saw me staying silent. “Where’s the evidence you talked about? Why aren’t you bringing it out? Or are you actually lying?”
Her words actually gave me a jolt of realization as I recalled another spot. I smiled and replied, “Don’t be anxious; I just remembered it.”
I recalled the dashboard camera’s footage must be there.
Wilbur was stingy to the point that he even refused to pay for a place to make love to Karen. Even a lovestruck fool like her couldn’t stand it.

Chapter 6

In order to relieve her back, she would occasionally sneak out with William’s car, all just to make love with Wilbur in the car. Sometimes, they would even do it outdoors without realizing that the dashcam could capture everything clearly.
The reason I found out about Karen and Wilbur’s affair was because I used to check the dashcam out of boredom in my past life. I even quietly deleted the footage out of concern for her.
The dashboard camera in William’s car had a backup feature, so the footage should be recoverable. However, it couldn’t be synced to a phone, so we could only check the footage on the device itself.
I turned to Annie, saying, “The evidence was recorded on my husband’s car’s dashboard camera. You’d be able to uncover the truth as long as you’re willing to go and check with me.”
We recently sent William’s car to the repair shop for servicing. It was some distance away from the hospital.
I looked confident and composed, while Karen was panicking, looking an utter mess. In fact, she seemed like she was about to faint.
Annie gave it some consideration before quickly agreeing to it. She then dragged me and Karen into her car and sped over to where William’s car was at.
Upon seeing what was happening, William hurriedly called a cab and followed us.
