Sandra’s experiment was just one specimen away from completion. The entire team went out to collect the specimen.
While putting on his working attire, Zachary vowed to Sandra, “Don’t worry. I’ll find the specimen for you.”
Sandra was a little worried. “Most of these specimens grow on cliffs, which is why they’re rare. We have to be careful,”
“Don’t worry! How could I bear to leave you alone?”
“The specimen isn’t important. You need to pay attention to your own safety.”
There were not many ladies in the research team, so the main roles were carried out by men. After all, they had a physical advantage on physical activities.
The team went into the mountains. Keith followed them unexpectedly.
He was walking behind the team. When Marcus saw him, he called Sandra over to persuade him to leave.
“Mr. Farmer, this is not a place you should be in.”
Keith replied, “I heard from the security at the door that you’re looking for specimens for Sandra. I was wondering if I could be of any help.”
Sandra could not help but respond, “I appreciate your kindness, but it is indeed very dangerous here. We aren’t familiar with this place, so we can’t afford to take care of you.”
What Sandra implied was that given Keith was an amateur, not only was he of no help, he might even cause trouble.
The team leader shouted from the front, “The people at the back, please keep up! Don’t fall behind!”
Sandra had no choice. Their time was tight and the task was important. They could not afford any delay. They had to find the specimen before sunset. Since Keith wanted to follow them, they had to just let him be.
As such, Keith followed the group into the mountains. Sandra and Zachary, walking in front of him, were holding hands all the time. He thought about how long it had been since he last held Sandra’s hand.
He placed his last hope on collecting the specimen so that Sandra would notice him again.
At the edge of the cliff, someone slipped and almost fell off the cliff. The fortunate part was that along with that fall, they found the specimen that they were looking for.
“Come and see! I think I found the specimen!”
Everyone gathered around.
Marcus measured the depth and found that they were around twenty meters away from the specimen. Someone needed to tie a rope to go down to collect the specimen.
Zachary was eager to try. He knew the importance of the specimen to Sandra.

Just as he put on the protective gear and prepared to head down the mountain, Keith tied a rope around his body, tied the other end to a tree, and immediately jumped down.
Someone exclaimed, “He isn’t trained! How foolish is this? Hurry up, everyone. Get ready to save him.”
Sandra looked at him anxiously while Zachary sighed.
