There, dozens of vicious messages filled the screen.
“Bitch, seducing someone else’s husband, huh? Why haven’t you
been punished yet? Just drop dead already!”
“Bitch, how does it feel to be a homewrecker? I’m going to show your fans what a disgusting person you really are!”
I desperately wanted to tell Joel that I never sent those messages.
I was already dead! How could a dead person send texts?
But Joel, furious at seeing his beloved first love insulted, was truly enraged now.
Through gritted teeth, he spat, “You’d better stop with these pathetic tricks! Aurora is my wife. Whether she loses her legs or not, I’ll take care of her for the rest of her life!
“As soon as Priscilla is discharged, I’ll take Aurora to the best rehabilitation center and make sure she can live without any
obstacles!”
Eileen let out a cold laugh, Iser voice trembling with grief “Xander, just stop the act already. I’m afraid Aurora is rolling in her
grave from disgust.”
Hearing this, Joel suddenly exploded in fury. He grabbed the phone and dialed the number that had sent the messages.
“Do you really want me to expose you in front of everyone?”
The call connected, but there was only silence on the other end.
Heroared, “Aurora, say something! If you keep playing games, I’ll divorce you!”
I smirked bitterly. There was no need for a divorce. He was already a widower.
Now completely enraged, Eileen pulled out my death certificate and threw it in Joel’s face.
“Open your damn eyes and take a good look. This is Aurora’s death certificate! Even your mother signed it!”
Her lips trembled with fury as she pointed at him, her voice shaking with each word “Look it over! The cause of death–massive
haemorrhage due to a blood clotting disorder!
“Joel Xander, because you sawed off Aurora’s legs, she bled to death, You murdered her!”
Joel’s face darkened as he grabbed the crumpled death certificate.
He stared at the few simple words on the white paper as if trying to uncover a hidden truth.
Sensing the shift in the atmosphere, Priscilla peeked out from behind him, her voice soft and delicate. “Joel, it’s all my fault.”
She hugged her own shoulders, her eyes glistening with tears.
“Aurora must be angry at you. That’s why she bought a fake death certificate online to trick you into going back.
“You should go home. Don’t worry about me. I’m fine… It must be hard for your mom to deal with all this at her age.”
